Our ocean view, beach access cabin is surrounded by red cedar, Sitka spruce and hemlock trees, offering stunning views and tranquility. Orcas, humpback whales, seals and eagles have all been known to cruise by our house. You can experience all of this wildlife from our beaches, front deck, or comfort of the living room. A perfect getaway for friends, families, fisher folk, or writers looking for some solitude and inspiration! We are honoured to live and play in traditional Heiltsuk territory.

The Aerie Beach Cabin

Enjoy the beach with a 180 degree ocean view. perched atop the sand dunes the Aerie features west and north facing windows allowing you to see the surf almost anywhere in the cabin. The Aerie is an off-grid cabin featuring indoor bathroom with compost toilet and heated shower. For heat this cabin has thermostat controlled hydronic base board heaters and a wood stove for secondary heat Cooler provided (need to bring ice), being offgrid there is basic electricity for lights and run shower pump.

Please note there is no running water or cooking facility. We do not allow any kind of open flame. This includes camp stoves and smoking. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required to safely access our property. Our check-in time is 7pm. Night sky glamping and star viewing in an entirely clear majestic geodesic dome! Once a 1920's warming hut for trappers, this cabin has been transformed into a cozy retreat perfect for adventurers and travellers, only 10 minutes from downtown Terrace. With a simple open layout and memory foam bed, it is comfortable for couples or solo travellers. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric stove, mini fridge, and coffee maker, while the bathroom features a stand-up shower and heated floor. Our rustic tiny cabin is situated on ocean front facing Hecate Strait. We have miles of secluded beach where you can enjoy the sun rises and ocean tides. The tiny cabin has everything you need to make your stay comfortable: a wood stove, heater, a double bed, kitchenette, barbecue and a fire pit. There's a separate full shared bathroom with an outdoor private shower. Plenty of space to put up a tent or we can make up a mattress on the floor for kids.

Chy Tonn ('Wave House')

This lovely cabin sits on two wooded, secluded beach-front acres in Naikun Park. The warm and cozy 600 sq ft modern off-grid home is made for days on the beach and quiet reflection. After swimming in the sea rinse yourself in the hot outside shower and then sweat in the wood fired sauna before checking your email or settling down to read by the wood burning stove.
