Trailheads and the East Branch Ausable River are easily accessible from the cottage. In Keene you’ll find locally-owned shops, markets, and cafes. We are 15 minutes from Whiteface Mountain, an Olympic Ski Resort and 15 minutes from Lake Placid.

This efficient cabin has all the comforts of home as well as a front & back porch, gas grill, stone fireplace, flat-screen TV, wi-fi, dishwasher, stove/oven refrigerator, clothes washer & dryer, a carport and use of the lean-to by the brook.

Mountain View

Enjoy the fantastic views right from the living room or from the wrap around 2nd story deck. Situated on 200 acres of our family estate, enjoy total privacy high up on the mountain. Pets are welcome with a $100 pet fee. There is a security camera on driveway above the Forest Hideaway and Mountain View signs. It only see’s the driveway and is more than 300 yards from the house.
