Weathercock House and its enchanting garden share the air, peace and fertility of Kenya's tea-growing highlands, where Nairobi seems distant as another planet. And yet, as a photo shows, the city still seems so close, you could skip down the lawn and launch yourself into its roiling imbroglio. The house itself is spacious, a bit old-school, but warm and comfortably furnished, with original art works by famous Kenyan artists. Situated in the heart of the leafy suburb of Karen; this stylish one-bedroom A-frame cottage is tucked away out of sight in a corner of our four acre garden. Ideal for solo travellers and couples. Not suitable for guests with mobility issues. Young children aren’t permitted due to the steep staircase. The property is located less than 1.5km from the Hub Mall and only 2km from the Karen centre.
