Experience an unique and unforgettable Japanese traditional home at the city centre of Kawagoe where it is well known for its old clay warehouses and merchant homes, called Kurazukuri.【Kuranoyado Masuya】is the only place you can stay in a traditional clay warehouses that was built about 130 years ago and designated as Landscape Importance Building. Located at the walking distance from the most famous sightseeing spots such as Kuradukuri zone(old storehouse zone), Toki-no-kane, Hikawa Shrine etc.

The property is conveniently located—11 minutes from Kawagoe Station East Exit or 5 minutes from Hon-Kawagoe Station East Exit. Restaurants, supermarkets, drugstores, and convenience stores are nearby. Each floor (1st and 2nd) is rented separately; please see each listing for details. We have taken soundproofing measures for "noise from the 2nd floor," but due to the wooden structure, complete sound insulation is not possible. If you are sensitive to noise, we recommend booking the 2nd floor.

"SUMIRE AOI HOUSE" is a small Japanese house. The basic structure of the house was designed in 1952 by Makoto Masuzawa, a leading architect in Japan. And the house was redesigned by Makoto Koizumi in 1999. I had lived 20 years with my family. The sense of space by the south-facing large windows and the stairwell, it will make you attracted. The area has some parks and fields, and it's leisurely. I can introduce nearby shops. Please spend your time like traveling daily life.
