Experience a stay in a traditional Japanese house, tucked inside the forested mountains of the Yoshino Valley. This converted farmhouse is located in Kawakami Village, the source of the Yoshino/Kino river. The house sits just above an idyllic swimming spot, perfect for families to enjoy the cool, clear waters Guests will have the full property to themselves, which includes a handmade cedar bathtub with views across the river. There is also outdoor space to enjoy barbecuing under the stars.

とくとは香川県豊島（てしま）の築約80年の古民家を改修し、2021年の夏から営業を始めました。 趣ある石垣の上の広い敷地にゆったりと構えられた古民家で、落ち着いた邸宅の風情を堪能いただけます。古い製法による波打ったガラス窓やとても大きな灯篭など、当時の贅を凝らした建築をお楽しみください。 豊島家浦港から歩いて10分ほどの便利な立地で、のどかな集落全体が見渡せる高台に位置しており、その先には穏やかな瀬戸内海の眺望が拡がります。また、晴れた日の夜には星空や奥の山から昇る月をのんびりと眺めることができます。 建物は、「本館」と「別館」からなり、感染症対策として、それぞれの建物に１組ずつ受け入れるようにしております。ご家族などで安心してお泊まりいただけるよう配慮しております。 建物の背後には畑と豊かな里山が広がり、ヤギも飼育しています。また、すぐ近くの静かなため池や、集落の入り組んだ路地も散策におすすめです。さらに、とくとでは様々な体験プログラム（現在、感染症拡大防止の為休止中）にも参加していただけます。 瀬戸内の島時間を「とくと」お楽しみください。

TAKIO guesthouse HANARE 2

Check-in time is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Due to other work commitments, I can't accept check-ins after 5pm, but I will do my best to accommodate check-ins before 2pm. Check-in is not possible on dates listed in the house rules and Sundays. (Staying and check-out possible) This is a guest house that is a 100-year-old Japanese traditional house that I renovated myself. The old house is 300㎡ and the field is 300㎡. Recommended for couples, solo travelers, and families.

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)

A 150-year-old traditional Japanese inn for private use. Enjoy local cuisine made with plenty of yuzu juice by the 88-year-old proprietress Emi-chan, as well as a traditional hearth and Goemon bath. ･Sushi made with yuzu juice. ･Buckwheat soup, a representative local dish of Tokushima, etc. *No WiFi/internet access At an altitude of 650m, it is cool all year round, and you can enjoy waterfalls.
