Sea View cabin 8min, walk to beach

This is a 1 bedroom cabin with a queen. Duvet and pillows. There is also a pullout sofa bed. It is a place to get away from the hustle and bustle. It is run on gas and solar power. There is no TV or microwave. Leave behind your hair dryer and hair straighteners and enjoy the privacy, peace and view. There is a BBQ available. Linen can be provided for a fee. 1st 2 guests are $100 per night then $10 per head per night after that. We are happy to provide a tent for kids to sleep in out on the lawn.

Only an hour from Auckland’s north shore, the seven acre property comprises of two separate residences - the farmhouse and the cabin, each with its own separate driveway and amenities.

Tara Valley Cabin

Your own three private cabins are nestled near 800 year old trees and joined with decks and pathways for you to wander and discover your bath. We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.

Leave it all behind and unwind at this off grid eco-conscious glamping site overlooking peaceful native bush and farmland. Our north facing, sun soaked site is perfect for families, small groups and couples seeking a unique space for an escape. Totally off-grid, Arohanui offers campfires and tree swings, a beautiful open air cast iron bath and a cosy bedroom cabin with skylights for star gazing.
