3 min to castle | Couch Potato Hostel Family room

3-minute walk to Matsumoto Castle and Nawate Street. The hostel is on a quiet street. Nearby, you can find traditional restaurants, izakaya, and a public bath. The building is renovated traditional Japanese house so that you can enjoy a cozy Japanese feeling here. In the common area, you can relax on a kotatsu, hammock, or couch :) The room is a corner room which has two single beds and a double bed so that you can stay with your friends or family. Note: Room is on 2nd floor.

SARUYA - Twin Room #8 in Modern Traditional Hostel

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.
