The Cozy Island Home sits on a half acre in a quiet neighborhood between historic downtown (1 mile to downtown connector bridge), and Folly Beach ( 3 miles to Folly Beach). There's no hotels on James Island which is the only connection to the beach. So, if you're looking to get close to Folly Beach, without the noise or paying hundreds of dollars per night, we'd be honored to host you. Our home is safe, quiet, cozy and deeply grounding. We pride ourselves on calming energy ready to welcome you.

Our spacious and secluded guest suite is in the perfect location to enjoy all that beautiful Charleston has to offer. Nestled in a quiet suburb, we’re less than a ten minute drive to the Battery and historic district of downtown, and a fifteen minute drive to Folly Beach. The suite was built in 2023, and includes a multitude of amenities for your perfect trip. With beautiful floor to ceiling windows, the view has sweeping oaks and mature magnolias, setting the scene for your Southern getaway.

The Backpacker

Our "Backpacker" is a cute and cozy 96 sq.ft. of tiny house nirvana. Situated on a small tidal slough, it provides a beautiful natural setting for reflection and appreciation of that which is good in life. For those looking for luxury, the Backpacker is not for you (you may encounter bugs and it's really hot in summer). However, the Backpacker has a pretty cool vibe, and is extremely convenient to historic Charleston and Funky Folly Beach. The Backpacker is for backpackers and nature lovers.

Island Life at its Best. Enjoy a beach stay at this bright and airy 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom cottage located 2 blocks from beach & 1 block from Center St. Walk to Beach, Pier, Bert's, restaurants, and shops on Center St. With an airy interior and awesome outdoor spaces this classic Folly cottage will not disappoint. Also, don't miss the outdoor shower and super comfy beds. Beach chairs included! 20 min to Downtown Charleston. **We have a severe animal allergy in the family, please no animals.**

Pelican's Porch on Folly Beach-Oceanview

Located directly across from beach with a path from the frontyard to the beach. Comfortable beach house, tastefully decorated on the West end of the island with large deck overlooking the ocean. The short sandy beach path is right out the front door. The home has ocean views and peaks of the river to the rear. View both sunrises and sunsets on this end of island. 9 blocks from the vibrant , eclectic center of town is where you'll find local cafes, restaurants, stores, bars and the pier.
