The place is nestled into one of the last Virgin stands of 100' hemlocks left in the state, part of the Van Vliet Hemlock States Natural Area. The area is great for hiking, biking and any outdoor activity you can think of.

The beautiful Black River Parkway is located 20 minutes away where there are hiking trails to 5 different falls, Copper Peak ski jump and Lake Superior beach.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful Northwoods cabin located right next to the Black River with access to multiple waterfalls and walking distance to Black River Harbor on Lake Superior. We also have a 30’ charter fishing boat at the harbor if anyone wants to book a fishing trip up to 6 people!
