Escape to Shadow Pine Lodge (#71-352), our majestic 1925 former hunting lodge set high in the San Jacintos. Tree top expansive views as far as the eye can see. The main sleeping loft features a charming atmosphere with half bath and a deck in the trees. Enjoy morning coffee/tea or an afternoon glass of wine. The downstairs living room is anchored by a grand fireplace. There is a bunk room with two beds and a smaller open space with a daybed. Full kitchen and full bath complete the interior.

“Artists’ Paradise!” This 500 sq ft one-bedroom storybook cabin (ideal for just two adults - no parties!) was built in 1930 by Idyllwild miners and is hidden on an acre of thick woods with private hiking trails where you will discover a large hovering UFO, 2 real crashed airplanes, among other artifacts. It is also home to the owner’s vintage Jeep and motorcycle collection. Every room is filled with original rock and roll themed art projects and the kitchen ceiling is a museum unto itself.
