While on holiday we are renting our modern family home in Vik, south of Iceland. A two minute walk takes you to a beautiful black sand beach, our property is also walking distance to everything Vik has to offer. From our patio, enjoy watching paragliders descend and Icelandic horses trot by. There are two bedrooms, one with queen sized bed and another with king size bed. Fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, full bathroom and separate smaller toilet. Private parking for two cars on location.

This beautiful two-story home offers generous living space, ideal for families. The ground floor features a welcoming entrance hall, a large and bright kitchen, a dining area, and a comfortable living room — perfect for entertaining or relaxing with family. There is also a practical laundry room and a convenient guest WC. Upstairs, you will find five bedrooms, offering plenty of space for family members or guests, as well as a spacious bathroom equipped with both a bathtub and a separate shower.

The house has everything you need for a family stay. It is located in the quiet and beautiful Seltjarnarnes. Location is still only a few minutes drive from downtown but without the buzz of the city. The house is on 3 floors. First floor has a big bedroom, small bathroom, washing room and kitchen. Second floor has the long living room with TV area and piano area such as shown in the photos. The third floor has a big bathroom with a shower and bath, plus 3 bedrooms including the master bedroom.

Our home is loaded with all the equipment and amenities you can think of. There is a beautiful deck and garden in the back as well as a terrace on the second floor with views over the Elliðarár-valley. Our home was fully renovated 18 months ago both inside and outside, it´s therefore like a new house. It is located in an wonderful family neighborhood which is next to a valley with walking paths and a salmon river and at the same time it is only 10 minutes from down town.
