Our cozy little cottage is tucked away adjacent to the woods. This single floor 650sf apartment is a perfect place to unwind, build a bonfire, & enjoy the nature that surrounds you. Wake up in the morning to watch deer while enjoying your coffee on the porch. Main St. Tannersville is only an 8 min walk; with its nice selection of restaurants & shops. Hunter Mountain & Kaaterskill Falls are within a 10 min drive . Woodstock, Saugertise, Windham, Catskill & Kingston are within a 35 min drive.

Why Kashmir on the lake? in 2004 the house was built by a local husband and wife who were dedicated to having their grandchildren enjoy this special place in the Catskills. The family decided to move south and listed the home to rent occasionally - especially for the music festival Mountain Jam in Hunter . Our place is located in a lovely community that has plenty of space to enjoy some quality time with family and friends. This is our home away from home and you can experience lot of personal touches throughout the apartment such as custom wood work, family photos and seasonal decoration. A one minute drive to Hunter Mountain or 10 minute (1500 foot :) walk! This cozy, newly renovated apartment is ideal for a small family or group of 4. One bedroom with a queen bed, spacious living room with a futon, bathroom, and kitchenette with dining area. This arrangement is very much like a 2 family home and this is the lower level. We recently installed security cameras on the OUTSIDE. If this is a problem for you please let us know asap.
