Come and enjoy everything the U.P. has to offer. We are conveniently located less than 3.4 miles off of U.S.2, with the cabin set, 1/8 mile off of Borgstrom Road. We have 2 miles of private walking trails on 280 acres of land. A cozy, spacious, and rustic cabin surrounded by State land. A great place for a big group of people, plenty on parking space, a fun place for a snowmobile get away. The snowmobile trail is 5 miles from the cabin Taquamenon Falls is approximately 51 miles from the cabin

Maple Leaf Cottage - a stay for all seasons

3 - 1/2 miles North of US-2 Perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

The cottage is located across the street from the ORV Trail in the Hiawatha National Forest. Conveniently located near the North Country Trail, the Sand Dunes on Hwy. 2 and Brevort Lake. Just 18 miles west of the Mackinac bridge and downtown St. Ignace, 50 min. drive to Soo Locks or Taquamenon Falls.

Less than a 10-minute drive to a beautiful Lake Michigan beach and the Garlyn Zoo. Tahquamenon Falls is an hour drive to the north. Plenty to see and do all within a days drive.

Once you turn down our little beach road your vacation will begin with the fresh northern Michigan air and pleasant soothing sounds of the lake Michigan waves. She has imperfections well water, very dark at night, quiet peaceful. May not be for you if you don't mind a little UP rustic. Some perfections she has, privacy with no direct neighbors, front door lake access, fully furnished no need to leave during stay. Barn across street from cottage has (2) visible security cameras.

Come stay at our lakefront Round Lake Cottage and enjoy the spectacular sunrise, clear sandy bottom, boating, fishing and swimming fun that lake life has to offer. Located on the West side of North Manistique Lake aka “Round Lake” in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Spend the day at the lake or see sites like Tahquamenon Falls, Oswald’s Bear Ranch, Seney Wildlife Refuge and Pictured Rocks.

The Husky Hut-Pet Friendly, Remote, Private.

The Husky Hut is an adorable tiny home located on 10 private acres. It’s located on a well maintained gravel road with plenty of parking. This is perfect if you are looking to “camp” without the hassle of a tent and other equipment. It’s extremely private; there is no light pollution and the stars are magnificent. The cabin sleeps two guests. This is truly off-grid; no power or running water. There is a sled dog kennel nearby so expect to hear the “neighbors” during feeding time!

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.
