Grooms Cottage is on a private estate right next to the ruins of Sheriff Hutton Castle. The property is in a peaceful setting but only two minutes walk away from the village pub and post office/general store. Our cottage was completely renovated in 2021 and is in a great location for walkers, cyclists, and explorers. Jacuzzi Hot Tub Cottage near York, sleeps 4, is based on our private Animal Sanctuary farm home (rescued donkeys, ducks, chickens, goats, sheep, bunnies, horses, tortoises, guinea pigs, in a rural quiet farming village, Huby, 6 miles from York. Smart TV, fully packed kitchen, outer lawned/paddock areas, plus your own private garden with Jacuzzi Hot Tub! (Use 10am-10.30pm) We are unique, and can offer you a haven of peace/quiet. We also have a camping paddock and Glamping Lodge for hire.

Fig Tree Cottage

Off the main street in the small historic village of Linton-on-Ouse which lies close to the national trust property of Beningborugh Hall and within 30 mins drive of York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon. The area provides open countryside which is popular with cyclists and walkers. “Fig Tree Cottage” is a recently completed conversion project finished to a high modern standard providing quality accommodation. There are a couple of pubs and the Lock House Pub serves food and takeaways.

We have lovingly transformed our former barn space with relaxation and comfort in mind. With private access and delightful outside space , you are assured a friendly welcome and invited to discover and enjoy all the treasures North Yorkshire has to offer.

Countryside location near to York

Nestled in the countryside just outside York, 'The Kennel' is a relaxing and peaceful retreat. This small but perfectly formed self-contained annex is set in three acres of newly planted woodland in which you can often see the Barn, Tawny and Little Owls visiting to be fed from the feeding posts, garden, small orchard, wildlife pond and apiary housing up to 8 beehives which provide us with some delicious honey. To the rear of the property is a Whisky and Gin Distillery.

The Retreat

The Retreat is set in a rural location and has lots of original features with a modern feel. With ample off road parking and close to the Stillington-Easingwold road its the perfect base to come back to after a visit to the many local attractions. The market town of Easingwold is 2 miles away and the City of York is 12 miles. The North York moors are close to hand and if you fancy venturing further you have the coast and the Yorkshire dales

Moxby Priory Cottage - An idyllic rural escape

Situated in picturesque farmland Moxby Priory Cottage offers a perfect base to explore everything that North Yorkshire has to offer. Just 10 miles from York this former granary dating back to 1840 has been lovingly renovated to offer a private retreat. The cottage is a delightful, spacious and fully equipped one bedroom property, with original high pitched ceiling, timber and stone flagged floors, lawned garden and private parking.

Seaves Mill situated on the edge of The Howardian Hills in the North Yorkshire village of Brandsby 13.5 miles from the city of York. Seaves Mill has been converted into this beautiful living space by avid gardeners and architectural antique dealers Phil and Jo. The space has been designed with quality and decorative design in mind. It is set within beautifully landscaped gardens along side the picturesque Mill stream.
