This rental is located on 6 acres in the unique Hawaiian cloud forest. Mornings are sunny and cool. We feed the birds attracting a flock of white cockatoos, finches, pheasant and cardinals. The pond and forest attract more bird species as well. Afternoons may see fog or rain develop, then clearing skies for extraordinary sunsets. Night skies are packed with stars. Peaceful and quiet location away from the tourist crowds and heat of the coast, but 15 minutes to airport, town and beaches.

This rustic and cozy cabin sits on our 5 acre parcel in the cloud forest above Kona town on the Big Island, called Kaloko Mauka. It has it's own private little corner of the property, complete with secluded hot tub, yard and large lanai perfect for the bbq! One king bed in the studio, best for 2-3 adults. Loft can suit a child or two 8 years and older or another adult. There is a fold out futon with extra bedding and pillows. Loft railing is not completely protected for children under 8.

It has beautiful lanais, a deck with hot tub downstairs, along with a workout room and ping pong table. KMH is close to several of Kona's beautiful beaches, the Big Island's most challenging golf, and has great views of the Kona coast. It is also adjacent to a Nature Preserve where you can hike for miles through the Forest. My home will make you feel like you live in Hawaii!
