The cottage is an old granary and therefore the staircase is slightly steeper than standard and open plan . Enjoy country walks and beautiful views, with Cartmel Racecourse just a short stroll away. Close to charming pubs, artisan shops, and the famous sticky toffee pudding.

A lovely little accommodation, comfortable and cosy with a country cottage garden and a beautiful view of the fell beyond. It's located in the village of Allithwaite, just 1.5 miles from the picturesque Cartmel, famous for its races and wonderful pubs, and restaurants. There is a driveway for easy parking. The rear garden, shared with the main house, has comfortable furniture. The single owner has the main house, though she is often away. Local amenities include a corner shop and a pub.

Cark is well served by the Furness line railway, and features pretty streamside strolls, lovely walks to the local coastline overlooking Morecambe Bay, two fine traditional old pubs and a scattering of small shops. It is a very short stroll from here to Holker Hall.

Walls a metre thick, large oak beams, log stove, and shutters on the tiny windows that open to reveal a beautiful view of the open countryside with lovely walks from the door. This cottage is full of character and has everything you need for a magical special break.
