The Blue Rooster is a beautifully decorated folk house on a quiet street within the Cooperative Community of New West Jackson. The home is filled with natural light making for a cozy stay. This home is one of several on the street that have been remodeled by residents as a self-help solution to blight and abandonment. CCNWJ manages all but one house on the block. We are working on opening a bookstore and ice cream bar in one of the houses, and also run the Mulberry Tree Guesthouse on airbnb.
