Wariin Cottage means wombat in Dja Dja Wurrung language. The owners of the cottage have an affinity with wombats and a respect for the traditional custodians of the land, so in naming the property they chose to acknowledge both. Wariin is an old miners cottage, circa 1900's, tastefully renovated to make your stay both relaxing and comfortable. It is perfect as a couples retreat or a small family holiday, it is private and pet friendly (small dogs only, larger dogs at owners approval)

With Picturesque views of the Hepburn bushlands & a short stroll from the Hepburn Springs cafes, bars & walking tracks, The Springs Retreat offers a convenient & cosy space to rest and recharge by the fire with friends and family. The famous bathhouse & Daylesford town are a few minutes from the property, offering local shopping, wine bars, farmers markets & more. Please note petd are welcome but there is a $50 cleaning fee. *Use of the fire is governed by fire restrictions/bans*
