Thanks to it’s large windows, you can watch the northern lights while having dinner or from the warmth of your bed.

Hekluhestar farm guesthouse

Our guesthouse was built by my parents, with the idea that it would be similar to the viking houses in the old days : a big open space, divided in three parts. It's nothing too fancy, but all basic necessities are here ! You also have access to two extra bathrooms and showers, and a sauna. The farm has horses, sheep, chicken and dogs roaming around ! The accommodation is strategically located, about one hour from Reykjavik, from the black sand beaches of Vik, and from the Golden circle.

There is a beautiful view from the cabin towards the mountain range Fljótshlíð and the Tindfjallajökull glacier. The cabin is the perfect place to stay if you visit South Iceland. It is near many main attractions, such as waterfalls, glaciers, black beaches, and volcanoes. The cabin has space for four people, with one bedroom with a double bed and one bunk bed with two beds in the living space. The cabin is decorated in the typical Icelandic style with two bedrooms and a loft, as well as two bathrooms and an open kitchen/living area. There is also a hot tub on the property to relax after a day of travelling.

The Condo is a 62 m2 on ground floor in a building complex. It has a bedroom, bathroom with a shower and a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and free coffee, and a living room. In the living room there is a four seater corner sofa that can be converted to a double sofa bed. It also has a 46" Tv with Chromecast and the local channels. The Bedroom has queen size bed. WiFi and parking is free.
