High Calling

High Calling is the lower level of a home on Cataloochee Mountain, at 4300’ elevation. Enjoy the panoramic views year round from a private covered porch or around the fire pit as you relax with the peaceful sound of the creek below. A charcoal grill is also provided. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with one full bed and one twin bed face mountain views. A sitting area with a television and games, kitchenette and coffee station are provided, along with snacks and drinks.

We are only a 1.5 mile hop onto I-40 that takes you 17 miles into Asheville or 15 miles to Waynesville. We are a perfect choice if you need an easy overnight rest, or stay longer and enjoy a fully furnished studio that is close to hiking trails, fly-fishing, mountain bike trails, elk viewing and skiing.
