Pets are very welcome as each cabin is private and has lots of room to play on. Walking trails are also on the property with a lookout of the mountains. WE'VE GOT THE SHACK...YOU BRING THE LOVE......This rustic backwoods log cabin is a couples retreat with total privacy and nestled among the pine trees on 5 acres with a seasonal creek at the edge of our hobby farm. This an open plan cabin with a queen bed, self contained indoor wood burning fire (wood provided), dining table and sofa. There is a small kitchenette with a kettle, coffee maker and toaster. 2 garbage bins, one for garbage and one for cans and bottles. Fire pit for cooking

The walking trails are perfect for snowshoeing, cross country skiing and driving snow machines down to the lake. The fire pit, BBQ and backyard is a place to relax and unwind. No internet- just a pure escape from reality with total peace and quiet. The cabin is stocked with games, a dart board, and gas fireplace.

We bought our house in 2005 and have made many changes to it since.  One of them being the 500 ft.² guest suite. It features its own entrance, full kitchen, full bathroom, cozy bedroom and living room areas. It sits on a well manicured double lot and is attached to the main house in the heart of Didsbury, on a beautiful tree-lined street. It is walking distance to the shops of Main Street and our beloved cafés as well as a grocery store. Built in 1940, it is a house of many stories.

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!
