The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. Newly refurbished in 2023, this converted barn features underfloor heating throughout, a 43-inch smart TV (lounge) and 23-inch TV (breakfast bar), wood burner, large shower, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, washing machine, king bed, snuggle sofa (new for 2026), turfed area, deck, outdoor hammock and garden furniture. A little corner of heaven on our peaceful private farm just 2.5 miles from Bude, home to our chicken flock, two horses, two dogs and two cats. Hot tub available as an optional add-on.

We provide you with everything you need for your stay ~ French linen bedding, towels, bathrobes, hair dryer and wood for both hot tub and wood burner & a delicious Cornish cream tea on arrival. We also include tea, instant coffee and fresh ground coffee, hot chocolate with mini marshmallows and a selection of fresh and dried herbs. You have exclusive access to the hot tub during your stay.
