This newly renovated room is in the original 1834 side of the hotel. This room features hand-turned Colonial-era queen bed with a luxury mattress and is decorated with our signature blend of classic and contemporary furnishings. Highlighted in this room are Eastern facing windows with beautiful light, maple hardwood flooring, and original 1920's topographic maps of West Virginia. The honeycomb tiled bathroom is furnished with porcelain fixtures and has has a subway tiled shower with bathtub.

This newly renovated unique two-queen room features colonial hand-turned bed frames, with luxury firm pillow-top mattresses. Beds feature oversized pillows and luxury cotton linens. This room features locally found vintage items and faces tree-lined Washington Street. You will find Persian rugs, over original hardwood floors, and our signature blend of classical and contemporary furnishings. A newly renovated room located in the center of the structure, overlooking the beautiful tree-lined Washington Street. Named for Walter Martens, a prominent West Virginian architect who designed the 1928 portion of the Inn and the Governor's Mansion in Charleston, WV! Features an antique hand-turned colonial era queen bed frame, luxury mattress with boutique linens, Persian hand-knit rug and refinished original oak flooring.
