Cosy studio on traditional Durham street

Just over 5 minutes walk from the train station and within easy reach to all of Durham City, this studio offers guests a flexible space while visiting the area. The studio flat is located on the lower ground floor of our home, accessible via external steps. This private space has it's own entrance/exit, bathroom, kitchenette, lounge space and double bed. Pay and display parking available on North Road for guests travelling by car. Travel cot available for couples travelling with an infant.

Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a 150 year old Grade II listed property, located within the Durham City conservation area. It is ideally situated for guests to enjoy the many attractions of this historic city, including the Unesco World Heritage site of Durham Cathedral and Castle, Durham University Museums and Gardens, riverside walks and an abundance of eateries. Rose cottage offers guests stylish, comfortable accommodation with quality furnishings, a small furnished courtyard and complimentary guest parking.

The Annexe, Durham City

This recently converted self contained private detached modern annexe is located within 15 minutes walk of Durham City centre with its world class University and Cathedral and is great for both holiday and business travellers. The Annexe is in the grounds of our larger house occupied by us, situated at the end of a private road near to Durham City centre. The annexe is totally self contained and has its own allocated parking space next to it together with private decked area with Cathedral views

Longridge is a luxury self contained flat, Newly decorated and refurbished to the highest standards. Located just off the A1 its sits minutes away between key locations like Newcastle and Durham. Local to points of interest like Beamish museum, Metro Centre, Durham Cricket Ground and Lumley Castle. The Studio is in the perfect location for visiting the beautiful city of Durham. Located just a few minutes walk from the railway station, the bus station and the restaurants, shops and bars of the city centre. You will have your own entrances front and rear. Inside you'll find a comfy king size bed, en-suite shower and toilet and a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities; toaster; toasted sandwich maker and a portable dual plug-in hob. The Old Stable Cottage

Cosy open plan kitchen and living area. Well–equipped kitchen contains a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, microwave, washing machine with freezer in porch. Lounge has two comfortable sofas,(one converts into a double bed). Sky TV, DVD player and fibre optic broadband. Two first floor bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin with full size bunk beds). Each room has a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Modern bathroom has a shower over a full size bath. Gas central heating throughout. Bedding/towels included.

I welcome professional workers, holidaymakers, people visting relatives and friends. You will have exclusive use of my home whilst I am away. Large bedroom (double bed), 2nd bedroom (2 single beds). Full use of modern kitchen/equipment, with your own drawer space, fridges, living room, bathroom & garden. Good access to Sunderland, Durham, Newcastle, local restaurants, cafes. Bus links in walking distance. Ideal for enjoying the North East events/arts/glass collecting/swim on Seaham beach.

Our luxury cottages are perfectly placed for tranquility and adventure set in the beautiful countryside of North West Durham. Only 20 minutes drive will take you to the world heritage site of Durham City and 30 minutes into Newcastle, with the most welcoming of Geordie hospitality. Both cities are noted for their stunning architecture along with superb restaurants and traditional pubs. There are many local attractions for all ages within a good walk or a short drive.

The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS NOT SUITED FOR A ROMANTIC/ PASSIONATE NIGHT AWAY BUT FOR GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.
