The Chalet is 1000 ft. above the valley and town of John Day Oregon. Great view of the town and valley to the east and Canyon Mt. to the south. Completely outfitted and ready for you to move into and enjoy. It is a Classic High Desert Decor complete with horse shoes and deer showing up for visits.Thanks for the notice. Wake Up to Wedding Cake! Stellar Cabin can be your private hideaway. Soak in the wood fired hot tub and gaze up at a blanket of stars. Cook a steak on the grill, make dinner in the fun cook shack and sit around and watch evening come. John Day Fossil Beds are close by. Hike Blue Basin, swim in the river or dig for fossils! We are out of range for most cell service, but it's close by. Wifi available at host house if needed! And pets are welcome!

Cowboy Cottage is a lovely rental home centrally located in the town of John Day, Oregon. The unit can be booked as a Vacation Retreat or as Temporary Housing. We are located in a residential neighborhood, directly across from the Grant County fairgrounds and a short, 3-block walk to the downtown restaurants, shops and businesses. This makes it ideal for exploring the town or attending one of the many local events hosted at the fairgrounds.
