The historic Walton Apts is a Registered National Landmark that was built in the 1930s by Architect Guy L. Frazer for the Nursing students at WNMU just across the street on College Avenue. Apartment 2 is a fully-furnished one bedroom, full bath, eat-in kitchen, living room and two large closet units with high-speed WiFi internet and cable on two roku-equipped TVs The heat is central via original steam radiators. A monitor, printer, mouse and keyboard (USB & HDMI Connectors) are available for your use. A railing has just been added for the walk up from the parking spot to your Casita.

We are located at the foothills of the Gila National Forest and the Aldo Leopold Wilderness where you can enjoy many trails that are available for hiking and riding.

On Continental Divide at 7K ft. in small mountain community of Pinos Altos ( 7 miles to Silver City), the newly constructed, fully furnished cottage offers elegant passive-solar (warm in winter, cool in summer) getaway on edge of Gila Forest. Well behaved, well groomed dogs are welcome with $20 per night pet fee ($100 weekly) payable during stay.
