You live in your own apartment which is located on top of a double garage. There is a small kitchenette with two hobs, where you can boil eggs or pasta, an air fryer, a fridge with a small freezer compartment, microwave, bathroom with a heated floor, shower and a washing machine and the apartment also has its own patio. Our apartment is called Pendo Amani, meaning Love and Peace, in Swahili. Pendo Amani is also a youth organization in Juja, Kenya, where there is a school called Ingemar Ericsson Learning Centre, named after Cecilia’s uncle. A part of the money our guests pay, goes to this important project, since our first guests in the apartment were friends from Kenya.
