River's Edge - Private Suite

Our home is located in historic Louisa County in Central Virginia on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, and smoking are not allowed. The internet is fast and cell phones work with WiFi calling. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

Unwind in the outdoor two-person cedar sauna, relax in a cedar wood burning hot tub that also doubles as a cold plunge, cook on a Pyro Tower grill and pizza oven combo (Pizza dough, sauce, cheese, and pepperonis included), enjoy the tranquil natural stone water feature, warm up by the outdoor fireplace, pollinator garden attracting butterflies/hummingbirds. Black out curtains provide privacy at night.

This large log cabin originally built in 1908 is our largest cabin on the property. There is a wrap around porch, fully stocked kitchen with working antique icebox, two living rooms, one full bedroom, bunk room with three double beds and three twin beds and two full bathrooms. Guests staying in this cabin have beautiful views of our surrounding ponds, 5+ miles of private country roads for hiking, running and biking. There is also a glass greenhouse with large table that comes with this cabin.
