The Crofter's House, Isle of Skye

The Crofter's House is a traditional Scottish croft house that has been renovated to create a calm and peaceful retreat in the wild landscape of the Isle of Skye. Situated beside Camustianavaig Bay, the house enjoys a rural location, yet is only five miles from Portree. The house has been featured in a number of publications including Elle Decoration, Conde Nast Traveller, Time Out, and Homes & Interiors Scotland. NB: the five-mile road to Camustianavaig is a single track (tarmac) road.

After four great years of hosting with AirBnB within in our home, we've used the covid hiatus to transform the old croft house into a spectacular and luxurious retreat. This unique place has a style all of its own. set on the top of a hill with stunning views over the sound of Sleat, taking in breathtaking views of the Isles of Eigg and Rum and in the distant the most westerly point of Scotland. Either sit and relax outside on the decking or down at the fire pit enjoying the peace and tranquility. Enjoy your relaxing break and cosy up inside with under floor heating through out and a warming glow from the log fire.

The Strawbale Bothy is made from simple, natural materials; wood, clay, straw and lime, there are no nasty chemicals, no concrete, and where we have had to use plastic, it is to an absolute minimum. It's the perfect place for a spring break, the straw walls make it super cosy. Built just for two, feel free to kick off your shoes and coorie in after a bracing walk in the sea air or though misty glens.

Cosy, modern cottage only a walk from silver sands

Garramor Cottage is a modern, one bedroom house . The living room is bright and airy with french doors leading out to the deck and woods beyond. Surrounded by trees, it is a very calm and peaceful setting. It is a 5 mile drive to Mallaig where you can get the ferry across to Skye. Local beaches such as Camusdarach Beach with their white sands are great to explore and just a short walk away.

Duich Cottage Kintail near the Isle of Skye

Duich Cottage is situated in the picturesque and tranquil village of Ault a`Chruinn on the shores of Loch Duich. The cottage is ideally located with easy access to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye as well as the charming villages of Kintail, Glenelg, Dornie and Plockton. The village of Dornie is home to the world famous Eilean Donan castle which is only a 10min drive from the cottage.
