The Boathouse is a single story building in a contemporary design, close to the main house with a shared garden going down to the waterside of Oulton Broad. Oulton Broad, has a variety of places to eat, a museum in the park and boat trips. Carlton Marshes is a stunning nature reserve and cafe. Lowestoft has a sandy beach with several cafes on the promenade. Southwold is a picturesque coastal town, a 25 minute drive away and Beccles, a beautiful market town on the banks of the river Waveney.

Stable Cottage, Blakeney: a few steps from the sea

A minutes walk from the quay, accommodation for the discerning guest looking for comfort in a tasteful, relaxing environment. The cottage has been renovated with a gorgeous contemporary feel throughout. Close to local eateries, the sea, and local wildlife, it is great for couples and families (dogs welcome). Heating and hot water are switched on. Wood for the burner is provided from October to the end of March. We also supply bath products, milk, tea, coffee and a bottle of wine on arrival.

Come and stay at Tickers to blow the cobwebs away, enjoy the amazing scenery, delicious food and coastal path walks which are accessed from the back door! Relax with our roaring log burner or a bath to soak in after a long day on the beach. Small enclosed gardens to front and rear of the property. Off street parking is available behind the house on a first come first served basis.

Just a few seconds stroll from the busy Byfords restaurant cafe and situated in the centre of the town and its multitude of shops and local attractions, this is the perfect bolthole getaway.  There is private parking for one vehicle. There is off street parking on the drive, a private gated front entrance and patio. Patio doors from the living room open to private west facing patio. The living room is spacious with a vaulted ceiling and incorporates the kitchen and breakfast bar. Double doors lead to the bedroom ( king size bed) and shower room. SUITABLE FOR 2 ADULTS ONLY

The beautiful kitchen has marble worktops, seating for 5 people and it even has a instant boiling water tap so you don't have to wait for your morning cup of tea or coffee .

Large bedrooms with king size beds, 1 room that can be made into singles. 3 bedrooms downstairs, 1 upstairs. We welcome 2/3 well behaved dogs,with nice walks from the barn.
