This real log cabin sits just 25 feet from the beautiful Cartecay River in Ellijay. The cabin is made of reclaimed white oak logs that are over 200 years old. Fish, tube, kayak, or just relax to the mesmerizing sound of the mighty river. The cabin has all of the conveniences of home. Firepit next to the river is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after dinner. Across the river is the Rich Mountain Wildlife Management Area - nothing but 19,955 acres of nature!

Our cabin does not have excessive outdoor lighting to preserve the natural mountain setting and protect local wildlife. Expect a darker, peaceful nighttime experience with beautiful star-filled skies.

Creekside Cabin at Cherry Log Mountain

Welcome to Creekside Cabin, a charming little cabin that sits right on the creek. The creek has an area shallow enough for little ones to play or grab a comfy chair and relax to the sounds of the water. Although our cabin isn’t remote it is very convenient to shops and restaurants in the downtown district of Blue Ridge. We are literally off the main highway. Don’t forget to go on a train ride while visiting downtown!
