West View is a traditional cottage in Furness Vale on the border of the Peak District The Peak Forest Canal is at the bottom of the road as is the train station (Manchester/Buxton line) There is also a regular bus service direct to the airport The village has a pub, fish and chip shop and community shop with Post Office services. A supermarket is a 15 minute walk along the canal ( 5 mins by car) Whaley Bridge, Disley and New Mills have a selection of independent shops, cafes, pubs/restaurants.
