Perfect for a romantic getaway, family vacation or football weekends. Enjoy activities such as hunting, fishing and cross country skiing. Snowmobilers can leave directly from the cabin. We are located 10 minutes from Black Moshannon State Park, and only 25 minutes from Penn State Beaver Stadium. Guests are provided with breakfast items for the duration of their stay.

With easy access off of I80, you'll be just a short drive (about 13 mins) from Black Moshannon State Park and about a 40 minute drive to Penn State. Lots of great nature related places to visit such as Sinnemahoning State Park, Bald Eagle State Park, Bennezette (elk sightings), and others.

The Squirrels Nest cabin is located just a few miles outside of the town of Frenchville, within 30 minutes drive to Clearfield (grocery stores & restaurants) 45 min to Benezette (Elk viewing center) 50 min to Penn State & Dubois. Located approx. 1 mile back a gravel road, the cabin offers privacy and beautiful views. Watch for deer & turkeys, as well as mountain songbirds. Possible Elk sightings! WIFI and TV.
