Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. on the Illinois river, large waterfront yard with Geese, Great Blue Herons, Egrets, White Pelicans and Eagles showing up on a regular basis. Close walking distance to grocery store, liquor store and downtown restaurants and bars in peaceful Ottawa, Illinois near Starved Rock State Park. Upper level (has stairs) 2 bedroom overlooking the Illinois River, play in the large yard or build a campfire in the fire pit next to the river and just chill.

Camp Wandawega: Lakeside 3 Bedroom Cabin

Overlooking the lake nestled right behind the main lodge, this cabin has 3 bedrooms, a half bathroom, a seating a room, a basic kitchenette & access to camp showers downstairs. One large bedroom has a queen bed, one room with bunkbeds, & one with a full bed to accommodate a max of 6 guests. (But the bunkbeds are best for kid-sized humans). Like all of Wandawega, it’s a back-to-basics, no-frills, primitive experience. Simple rooms, vintage furnishings. There is heat & a couple AC window units.

Welcome to Mr. Hughes' Attic, a private coach house that pays homage to John Hughes (who filmed many of his movies nearby!) Located in NW Evanston, your stay includes a queen bed, full kitchen, laundry, full bath, dedicated workspace, private balcony, free parking, streaming TV, and more. This log cabin is an old hunting lodge. It is rustic, charming and quaint, nestled in the woods of Wisconsin and next to a tranquil pond. The location is close to the Johnson Park golf course and 5 miles from the beautiful Lake Michigan shore. It is a perfect place to relax, write or escape from the stress of life. In the winter a 4-wheel drive vehicle is necessary to reach the site. Please note: bathroom facilities are a close walk away. Heating from wood stove only.

We would like to welcome you to our bright newly built 2nd floor above garage apartment. Located in a family friendly neighborhood, just a 10 minute walk to downtown where you will find delicious dining, unique shops and historical sites everywhere you turn. Jarod and I with our kids live in the main house. We love giving our guest privacy but may run into you as we are enjoying the weather as often as we can with our kids running around enjoying their childhood.

The upstairs is one big room that has 1 queen and 2 twin beds. The upstairs also has a full bath. The TV in main living area on first floor is not hooked up to cable, but you can log into all of your apps and have access to news via YouTube TV, Netflix, Prime etc.
