Armadale Farm Cottage, Armadale Bay

Owned by Joyce Campbell, a prominent Scottish hill farmer and shepherdess widely recognised for her appearance on the BBC series 'This Farming Life', this gorgeous wee home has been renovated to encapsulate the traditional Scottish feel which we know our guests can't get enough of. Fluffy sheepskin throws, soft furnishings made from wool from the flock, a cosy wood burning stove - all within walking distance of the beach, makes this delightful cottage a perfect home for your Scottish getaway.

Ethel's Cottage: Idyllic Riverside 1 Bed Cottage

The recently refurbished and modernised Ethel's Cottage is in an idyllic location, flanked by two rivers. This gate lodge cottage offers the perfect place to stay for a few nights or longer! Easily accessed from the A9 (on the NC500 route) and just a two-minute walk from a secluded beach and estuary with lots of short walks from the front door and plenty longer ones in the vicinity. Modern appliances and comfortable furnishings, the cottage has everything you will need for a relaxing break.

Cosy up in a large cottage for a night or for a few nights! This roomy place is surrounded by incredible scenery & on the NC500, close to beaches & set next to a river. This spacious cottage lets out 2 bedrooms, with use of the whole place. One room has a double bed & it's own bathroom. The 2nd bedroom sleeps 1 & has a single bed. Sleeping up to 3 people in total. We're dog friendly and the cottage has a living area, t.v area, kitchen, pool table, laundry, fenced garden and privacy.

Torran Cottage is nestled within a UNESCO World Heritage Site - The Flow Country! Whilst superbly modernised throughout, the cottage retains its original features, including wonderful flagstone flooring, deep-silled windows set into thick stone walls, and a large wood burner for cosy evenings. The views from the hot tub and gardens are unbelievable. Panoramic vistas look east to Morven and the Scarabens, south to Ben Klibreck and west to distant views of Ben Loyal and Ben Hope.

The Steading, Melvich

This converted building in the picturesque village of Melvich has been recently renovated and has amazing sea views including the Orkney islands! Offering WiFi, television, and off-road parking for one car. Also, with the new addition of a woodburning stove, you will certainly not be cold! Ideally situated for exploring the north of Sutherland and Caithness, this area is popular for walking, fishing, surfing, golfing and has one of the most beautiful beaches in the area!

This is one of the nicest houses in Thurso. it is located only five minutes from the centre of town and is a perfect base for enjoying the city and surrounding countryside. There is a private driveway and free off-street parking for up to 6 cars. This beautiful house has a full kitchen and dining area, a spacious living room and five bedrooms. There is also a stunning, 3 acre, award-winning garden. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. 10 guests 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms

BERRISCUE HOUSE - ENTIRE COTTAGE - THURSO

Berriscue House is a beautiful, bespoke cottage - located in the centre of Thurso, hidden away from the world with a large walled garden and private entrance. Five minute walk from the beach. Everything you need for a cosy Scottish retreat! If booking the same day after 6pm please message as it may still be possible to book. If you require the extra bed in the living room, you must tell us in your initial message so we know to prepare this for you.

Coastal Cottage with Spectacular Views

Old country cottage built in 1873 set in the small village of Melvich with amazing coastal views and breath-taking scenery. On the North Coast 500 route, this property offers an ideal location for exploring both Caithness and Sutherland. Melvich boasts a sandy beach within a 5 minute walk from the cottage. This property has a private and enclosed garden with private parking. There is an open fire in the living room which would be set by the host.

Croft View

Fully equipped accommodation with two bedrooms (one double room, one twin room). Melvich is situated on the NC500 route and is ideally placed for exploring the local area. Local pub within walking distance serving evening meals. Booking is advised. Free Wifi available, however we cannot guarantee a reliable signal. Lovely beach nearby which is popular with surfers. Please note due to increased costs, guest now have to pay for the electric they use.

Welcome to my 17th-century original working croft cottage. Set in the stunning Highlands, directly on the NC500 in the small rural village of Melvich. Just a short walk from Melvich beach great for swimming, fishing, surfing, or just a gentle stroll along the beach, a truly beautiful getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. The cottage whilst boasting all modern amenities still keeps a lot of its original features.
