At night time you can see deer grazing. We have an above 18’ round pool with spectacular views of the pasture. We are about 30 minutes away from Toledo Bend Lake. Kisatchie National forest is about 30 minutes away. Hiking trails & swimming. This house has one king bed one queen bed and four twin beds.

Enjoy the sounds of the Lake and many species of Birds, as you swing on the porch or Grill in the yard. Cathedral ceilings gives it a open cozy feeling. Boat Launch near by at Kites Landing for 5 dollars. This Cottage is in a cove across from the Indian mounds right off the main lake

Ruby's Cottage is located 5 miles from Anacoco, La on Lake Vernon. Lake Vernon offers excellent fishing and boating. Guests have access to a large fishing dock with a gazebo and a kayak dock. A public boat launch is located 500 feet from Ruby's Cottage. A private patio with a gas BBQ is provided. A queen size bed, 2 adult bunk beds, a washer & dryer are provided. The kitchen has a 4 burner stove, microwave, and dish washer. A TV with Dish network and free Wi-Fi is provided.
