This waterfront cottage is a hidden gem and has everything you need for a perfect affordable vacation by the lake and located less than 3 miles from Boyne City. Private beach, comfortable beds, stocked kitchenette, washer/dryer, desk, wifi and fireplace! Its cozy, clean and comfortable without the high price of lakefront rental property. Both bedrooms are located upstairs. One bedroom with a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed. There is also a Queen sofa sleeper on main floor.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

We only rent for part of the season and hope that your families can create wonderful memories here too. For over 100 years our family has been coming here, and there are other family cabins along the lake. Enjoy non-stop swimming, lake activities, falling asleep to the sounds of the waves, dinners outside, walks along the beach and more.

There are 3 beaches within 3 miles of the home. Nubs Knob and the Boyne resorts are within 30 minutes. The home was recently remodeled and is fully equipped. The home does have well water. The small faucet at the kitchen sink provides pure RO water for drinking and cooking.
