With it's perfect location close to Lake Michigan, Chicago Botanical Garden, Ravinia, Naval Base, and Six Flags Great America to name a few, our family home is within reach to Chicago as well. If you feel very adventurous, just leave your car in garage, pick up a bike and ride the Lake Shore Bike trail all the way to downtown Chicago, enjoying the beautiful scenery. If you feel less adventures but still would like to enjoy beautiful scenery, you can do it by taking a train. Metra can get you downtown Chicago in less than 45 min. and the stop is within walking distance.

Unique porcelain-enamel paneled "Lustron" home

This rare modern post war home has a style all its own. Created by Carl Strandlund in Columbus Ohio, it consisted of prefabricated porcelain enamel covered panels inside and out making it durable and easy to clean. Easing the postwar housing shortage and its maintenance free design were its selling points. There is an apartment in the basement separate entrance from the house. I live in the house sometimes.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room. Two floors have 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 6 beds and tons of room to watch movies, play ping pong, and have a meal together. You literally cannot get closer to Andersonville center, and it’s a great home base to be not far from the lake, and Wrigleyville. The enormous back yard has fire table, and tons of room for games, kids, and dogs. We do have a strict quiet hours policy and backyard access is prohibited after 10pm.
