Welcome to the Nuthatch, a cozy cabin in the woods outside Fairbanks. This dog-friendly little cabin is just 7 miles from town but surrounded by the boreal forest. This is glamping at its best, a solid roof, warm place, bed, WiFi, and tv. This is a “dry” cabin, with an outhouse but no running water (no shower. Look out for wildlife and northern lights or roast a s’more over the campfire. If you have more guests, there is an additional cabin on the property "Come Visit the Warbler", holds four.

Keep it simple in our cozy cabin in the woods. This cabin features 1 loft bedroom upstairs accessed by a ladder and a full kitchen and living room. The sectional in the living room pulls out into a full size bed. Kitchen is fully stocked with basic cooking supplies and serving ware. We have a gravity fed water system for sink water and a nice outhouse on the property. This tiny home is the only one on the property with lots of privacy. 5 miles from the airport

This unit is located in the downstairs of our home, so you may hear the occasional pitter patter of tiny feet upstairs. We recommend AWD vehicle for winter use. Unique hand built log cabin. My wife and I built it ourselves in 2005 for a gift store which we ran until we started having kids. Some Alaskan artwork is displayed in the cabin. We've added a bathroom, a kitchen and a covered and screened-in porch in the front. The location is great for the Fairbanks area.
