The "Hut" is less than one mile from the red light in downtown Banner Elk. Only a fifteen minute walk or less than two minute drive will put you in the heart of this quaint little town. Less than half a mile to the local brewery and only a ten minute walk to the town park. The owners are on premises and very attentive to the needs of their guests. Those interested in hosting parties should look for other accommodations. Strict no pet policy. The space will only accommodate two guests.

You may need 4WD in snow. 3 miles from downtown Banner Elk. 10 -20 minutes from Ski Beech & Sugar Mtn. Depending on traffic. Sledding is excellent. Bring your sled. Deer and turkeys are commonly seen in the yard. Host may greet you at check-in or sometime during your stay. Available by text or phone for questions. Dishwasher and zipline are currently not in use.

Our Cabin is brand new as of the end of August 2017. My place is close to Ski Sugar (2 miles), Ski Beech (6 miles), Grandfather Mtn, Boone, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, Blue Ridge Parkway. You’ll love my place because it's Nested in the Lush surroundings of the Blue Ridge Mtns. Our cabin offers all the comforts of your own home combined with the beauty and serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
