Enjoy the forest view where it’s likely you'll see wild deer or turkey. Build a fire in the fire pit, have a stargazing soak in the hot tub, enjoy the freedom of an outdoor shower (available May 1- Oct 25), or relax on the hammock deck. You’ll have everything you need for the perfect getaway. Once you arrive, you won't ever want to leave.

The Little House on Sanford

Our guest house is next door to our home and farm. A one-story, 2 bedroom with a newly remodeled bathroom and cottage style amenities is simple but includes some more modern touches for entertainment a comfort. Trails through the field and woods are available during the Summer and hunting off-season. Pets are welcome but must be leashed at all times when outdoors. This area gets a significant amount of snow during the Winter but is right off the highway and a straightforward drive to Lake Erie.

Cozy, country setting about 5 mi. from Meadville, Allegheny College, Meadville Medical Center, the Crawford County Fairgrounds, restaurants, and shopping. Our property affords off-street parking and a large back yard in a peaceful neighborhood. Erie Intn'l Airport is slightly less than 1 hr away, and Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Buffalo airports are within 2 hrs. Please note: We have a no-smoking policy for our entire property--inside and outside. We also maintain a strict no pets policy.

Newly furnished with a fenced in yard for pets(dogs), the cottage has room for 7 guests and off street parking for four vehicles. Only 2 blocks from Edinboro Lake in a highly walkable, bike-able setting. Take a walk or a bike ride and enjoy a beautiful sunset on the lake. Finish the evening with a cocktail at the firepit.

Please come stay at our cottage and you will enjoy everything about it. You will have access to the entire cottage for days of fun!! We are only 1 1/2 blocks from the beach a.d a big playground. You will also enjoy our fire pit with Firewood included. We are also located only 15 miles from Erie where you can enjoy Presque Isle, Waldameer and Splash Lagoon. It's situated on a double lot providing plenty of space to share meals at the picnic table, toast marshmallows at the campfire, let your dogs run and play any yard games you've brought.
