A number of historic houses are close by which makes the Annexe a perfect base for exploring the local area.

Outside there’s York stone patio with chiminea/BBQ, table&chairs, lawns, flowerbeds and sunset bench, perfect for a peaceful stay.

Only 3 miles away is the historic Market town of Howden with it's great range of shops, cafes and bars. Laxton is an ideal base for exploring East or North Yorkshire.
