The house holds a good central position close to airports; Glasgow airport is 30 minutes away and Edinburgh airport is 40 minutes drive and is a good base for a variety of day trips in and around the city. Twechar is situated on the Forth and Clyde canal which is used for cycling, walking and kayaking. There are many walks in and around Twechar itself for instance the Roman Fort and easy access to the Trossachs.

Nestling within this secluded woodland setting, this detached cottage overlooks the Campsie Fells, and is a great base for exploring all that central Scotland has to offer. It has a double height living area with wood-burning stove is an ideal base to explore the Trossachs and Loch Lomond, and is close to Glasgow and half an hour from Edinburgh by train. There are two other cottages on site which, when booked together offer accommodation for 14.

2 bedroom semi detached self catering accommodation 5 minutes walk from the infamous West Highland Way. Essentials in welcome pack on arrival, herbal teas, wifi and a selection of tv channels. Plug point in kitchen with usb ports, a dining area suitable for 4.A selection of books, local information. A water filtered fridge freezer is installed to keep plastic waste down. Only 1 pet per visit permitted. Message before exceptions can be made.

We have a converted double garage that is separate from our house. It comes with high spec kitchen facilities, fridge freezer, hob, wine chiller, microwave and washing machine. It is self sufficient with its own bathroom with electric shower as well. It has a double bed. Car parking is also available. There is a TV with Sky Q in the flat also. It has fitted wardrobes and lots of room for storage. Electric heater in living room.

Parking for larger vehicles and horse box is available. There is a shopping centre 5 minutes drive away and the village of Torrance 2 minutes drive away has pubs a supermarket, hairdresser and pharmacy as well as two take aways.
