Rustic Snowshoe condo in quiet, central location

Rustic top-floor condo with a cabin-like feel; Smart TVs, communal hot tub. Easy access, ample parking in front of building, situated 1.5 miles from the Raven Golf Club and 6.5 miles from Snowshoe Mountain slopes (a 10 minute drive). Located at the base between the two entrances, this 1 bedroom / 1 bath sleeps 4, with queen, upgraded gel foam mattresses. Ski, hike, bike, paddle, fish, ride-all at the fingertips of the outdoor enthusiast, without the resort fees. Restaurants/grocery minutes away.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

Read this entire listing as Doe Hill is a very remote location. Please note this is an old farm house: No A/C, No Wifi, No Cell Service! Our home is one of 4 current family houses on an active working farm that has been in operation since the late 18th century. The home is rich in history but recent renovations make it quite comfortable. The large patio is perfect for watching the sunset over Jack Mountain or the moon rise over the Bullpasture. Clear nights are great for stargazing.

Located 19 miles from Snowshoe resort, 5 miles from the Green Bank Observatory, and 11 miles from Cass Scenic Railroad. There is so much to enjoy from hiking and biking the Greenbrier River trail, canoeing or kayaking one of the nearby rivers or skiing at Snowshoe. Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. We do not offer a TV. Near Elkins.

Come and enjoy a relaxing, comfortable and peaceful stay at a fully furnished and renovated mobile home. This home has a fully stocked kitchen, full bath, washer, dryer, and desk for a study area. Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
