Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

The Lodge, Heath Park

NOTE road resurfacing 2 Mar-3 April. No car access 9am - 3pm Mon-Fri. The Lodge is the two storey annexe of Heath Park, one of the holiday homes of Beatrix Potter. It is within easy walking distance of the rail station and intercity bus stop. A parking space is adjacent to the house. The Lodge has been recently refurbished with new ensuite bathroom and kitchen and new furniture. It is accessed through the main gates of Heath Park which lead to a stone gateway and small hard landscaped area.

Our spacious bungalow offers five bedrooms, three ensuites and a family bathroom, Lounge, conservatory, dining room and kitchen. We are not a five star hotel! Please note before booking that this is a well used and loved family home with grandchildren and dogs. Not a perfected holiday home only. Property situated in the tranquil surroundings of Birnam wood and the River Tay. Dunkeld is close by and Pitlochry is a short drive away.
