Finnish Sauna Timber Cottage

This cosy Finnish Sauna cottage was lovingly imported and built in 2007. On the first level is a fully equipped kitchen /dining and a cozy loungeroom with a stone fireplace at its heart. Off the lounge is the spacious bathroom and walk through to the wood-fire sauna. Upstairs is a mezzanine which has 2 areas separate by a curtain. There is a master bedroom with a double bed, hanging space and drawers. On the other side of the curtain is a bedroom nook with 2 single beds. Outside - 2 verandas.

"Kennebec" homestead is all yours! We have lovingly restored (& added a bit of modern luxury) this 1902 homestead which was build by our great grandfather. Located 13km from Dunkeld, the southern gateway to the Grampians, and 20km from Hamilton. The cottage is light and airy with full picture windows facing the mountains, this includes the main bedroom. A deck also allows outdoor access of the same views. It is fully self contained and you do not have to share any part of it with others not in your group. Both bedrooms and the lounge room have reverse cycle air conditioners, and ceiling fans. Fast WIFI is also available at the cottage, perfect for those working away from home.
