Only an hour drive from Chicago, and close to Indiana Dunes National Park, it is the ultimate escape. The perfect getaway for couples, creatives and nature lovers who want some peace, quiet and space. Explore the farm trails & enjoy the wildlife and soothing sounds. Peaceful cottage nestled on historic Mill Pond, the secret of the locals for great fishing and small-town lake life. The Cottage is inlet side of a no-wake lake. Take a paddle board/boat ride through the lily pad path to beautiful open water with excellent fishing and relaxing. Gather on our dock around the grill or fire table or make s'mores around the fire-pit. Swing in our hammock and listen to the frogs or go and see all the region of the Great Lakes has to offer right out your doorstep.
