The cottage is located just out of the centre of Hay opposite the beautiful St Mary's Church. It is slightly quieter here than in the heart of the town but is still only a 5 minute walk into the centre. It is very easy to access the river walks, simply taking the path to the right of the church. The cottage is full of character with wooden beams, a wood-burning stove, the original fireplace in the bedroom, wooden flooring throughout the downstairs, and a beautiful south-facing garden.

This cosy country cottage is situated in the quiet residential village of Eardisley, Herefordshire, perfectly located along the historic black and white trail with easy access to Offa's Dyke and the Brecon Beacons. This beautiful 1531 Tudor barn conversion has nearby amenities, including a village pub, books, post office, shop and park all within walking distance. Nearby local towns include Kington-5 miles, Hay-on-Wye-7 miles and Hereford-15 miles. Perfect for a couple or family stay.

An ideal area for walking, cycling, canoeing and other outdoor pursuits. Self contained with private garden and suitable for two adults. Close to all local amenities - shops, pubs, eating places etc. - very well equipped with off road parking, free wifi and good mobile reception. Two nights minimum stay. Hot water provided.

Just a stroll away from our friendly, foodie village pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. It’s a special place, nestled in its own little corner of my garden, with an emphasis on luxury and lovely things. Transformed from my everyday potting shed, it’s now a spacious, warm and welcoming hideaway for two which I’m very proud of.

Hay is better known as the 'Town of Books' and is brimming with cafes, pubs, restaurants, independent shops, a small cinema, castle, bookshops, and of course Hay festival. The Black Mountains and the River Wye are on our doorstep and the property is perfectly situated to explore not only Hay-on-Wye but also the surrounding Black Mountains, Wye Valley and the Brecon Beacons National Park.

The cottage is adjacent to our house in the quiet village of Bredwardine. We are in an excellent position for site seeing, walking and cycling, our local hotel is well known for salmon and course fishing along with good food there's also a number of country inns who serve food within a 10 minute drive for those who prefer not to cook. The county town of Hereford is 12 miles and the famous town of books Hay on Wye is 8 miles
