Our cozy guest cottage has easy beachfront/kayak/canoe access (if you bring your own) and is located very close (within walking distance at low tide) to the public boat launch for larger boats. Great location to explore Deer Isle, Acadia (approx 1hr), Castine (45m), and the Bangor (1hr) area. Brave children and adults even swim from the beach but comfortable swimming ponds/lakes are 10m in several directions. The hot-tub is open year-round! Additional guests can be considered prior to booking.

5 acres of lawns, gardens, and meadows and a gentle rocky beach on Blue Hill's Salt Pond, a protected inlet of the Atlantic Ocean. The house faces south towards the water and overlooks a gorgeous blueberry field that turns a majestic shade of deep red in the fall. The view from the covered porch of this 3-bedroom Bungalow, a bathing house, built in the early 1900s, is an ever exploding fusion of white and black birds taking wing over the island out front with swimming cove nearby. Grandfathered to sit right on the shoreline, the Bungalow is a variation of house with swimming pool, only it's the ocean, not a swimming pool. Historic schoolhouse of Brooklin converted into the perfect one bedroom getaway. Located across the street from the Brooklin Rockbound Capel with a quick 20-minute drive to Blue Hill. Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor or Bangor are all with in an hour away. The original post and beam construction, with a sleeping loft, give the interior a rustic vibe offset by the playful color palette and butterfly wallpaper make it more botanical and lighthearted.

This is an above garage apartment with a private side entrance, up stairs and off a deck. Water views. Public beach/ocean access at Bridge's Point Boatyard/Dow's boatyard is less than a half mile away. This property is not heated, space heaters available. All linens supplied. Well behaved dogs are welcome with prior approval. Please note, Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are a one hour drive away. And the bathroom is tiny!
