Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

After a fun day in The Driftless Area, come relax and unwind in Prairie du Chien. Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom home with a spacious kitchen, large island, dishwasher, washer/dryer & 5' walk in shower. We supply all cooking/baking items/utensils. High-speed internet with smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Outdoor pool (seasonal), hot tub and massage chair. We love dogs too, so we provide a dog run (there is a pet fee). For our fishermen- there is off street parking for your boats.

When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead and enter the Guest Barn, you'll notice the construction materials which were salvaged from a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.

Little ones are welcomed by a standard crib and kids will enjoy the upstairs lounge and secret reading nook. Enjoy the open living and dining areas, 3-season porch and patio with fire pit and patio heater (available seasonally). Detached garage available for a vehicle, bikes or kayaks. You can come and enjoy the surrounding areas if you want, but you can also just come and spend the entire time away from the outside world. It is a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place to just unwind. Located up on a bluff, between Prairie Du Chien and Ferryville, this cabin gets you about 5 minutes from the river but allows you the serenity of being tucked away in the trees.

Walk/Run/Bike into town or all around our pleasant little town. Everything in the downtown Decorah area is within a few minutes from this peaceful neighborhood!
